    Mick Hanson, real estate advisor at Engel & Volkers Seattle Eastside, is simply the best real estate agent we have ever encountered. Since our first meeting in early August, 2023, until final closing in Nov 2024, Mick has been our guiding light and our “boots on the ground” through the most difficult and arduous process of selling our family home while we were living out of state. We were dealing with an obstinate tenant that evolved into a squatter/unlawful detainer situation. Mick researched appropriate legal counsel in the Seattle/Bellevue , Wash area and facilitated securing the legal services needed to resolve the issues. Not only did he successfully list the property and secure the eventual buyer, he worked closely with us and our legal counsel to evict the tenant. That complicated and time consuming process included court hearings which required witness statements and time-line information that Mick provided. Underlying the eviction action was our having to deal with frivolous liens the tenant placed against the property in an attempt to complicate and delay the closing process. Again, Mick helped us secure additional legal counsel which helped us successfully navigate the complicated process of getting the liens removed so we could close on the property. Mick acted more like a devoted family member than a realtor.Throughout this entire 14 month ordeal, Mick was by our side. He made himself available 24/7. Any time we tried to call or message him he always responded immediately. Weekends or holidays, it didn’t matter. He was particularly sensitive to the “Senior Citizen” nature of his clients. Mick’s level of expertise and experience was abundantly clear at every stage of the process. He shared our collective frustration with the horrendous backlog in the court system and helped us all keep our “cool” as we waded through the system. We can’t emphasize enough our level of gratitude for and satisfaction with the services Mick Hanson provided. We could not have successfully evicted our unlawful detainer without him.     Mick was a Godsend. Our Dad passed away and we were more than overwhelmed! Mick took us by the hand and not only guided us through the process but he had various crews to help us with the house and yard! We got the house cleaned and fixed and sold in a couple short months! Seriously, he is the best!

    Mick is not rushed to make a sale when working with his customers, he's not in this to make a quick buck and get out with his commission. He takes his time to understand the needs of the customer, and he doesn't put offers on homes that don't meet your criteria unless you specifically want him to.
